Interbridge Nbg e.V.
represented by the board

2. General information on data processing
We collect and use our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted via GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (or GitHub B.V. for users in the EU). When you visit the website, GitHub automatically processes technical access data (including IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser used) in so-called server log files. This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). This may involve a transfer of data to the USA. For more information, see GitHub's privacy statement: docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-privacy-statement.
4. Fonts
This website loads the typeface "Instrument Sans" locally. There is no connection to Google's servers or any other third party, and no data is transmitted to third parties in this regard.
5. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we store your details (sender address and message content) in order to process your inquiry and answer any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry) or, if your inquiry relates to a donation or association membership, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not pass on this data without your consent and delete it once the purpose of storage no longer applies.
6. Donations
PayPal
For donations via PayPal, we link to paypal.me/InterbridgeNbg. Clicking this link takes you away from our website to PayPal. The payment processing there, and the associated processing of personal data (e.g. name, payment details), is carried out solely by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, in accordance with its own privacy policy: paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full. We ourselves do not receive or store any payment data.
Bank transfer
For donations by bank transfer, your bank and our bank (Sparkasse Nürnberg) process the data necessary to execute the transfer (including name, IBAN, payment reference) as part of standard payment processing. We use this data solely to allocate your donation and to issue a donation receipt upon request.
Account details outside the EU
Donors without SEPA access can request account details for a transfer by email. Section 5 of this policy applies.
7. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right at any time:
- under Art. 15 GDPR to request information about your personal data processed by us,
- under Art. 16 GDPR to request the immediate correction of inaccurate data,
- under Art. 17 GDPR to request the deletion of your data stored with us,
- under Art. 18 GDPR to request the restriction of processing of your data,
- under Art. 20 GDPR to receive your data in a common, machine-readable format,
- under Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your data, and
- under Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Bavaria, this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
8. Storage duration
Personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. for donation receipts).
9. Currency and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid (see date above). As our website evolves, or due to changes in legal requirements, it may become necessary to amend this policy.
